Bristol: Movement, meditation and foraging : last of the summer evenings

  • Conham River Park BS15 3AW (map)

For these two hours, we'll take you exploring the beautiful Conham River Park, learning about the different plants overflowing in the hedgerows. We’ll be moving and foraging at dusk so bring your warm clothes and comfy things, we’ll be sharing ways to transition from the light of summer to the dark of autumn and winter and will finish our session with a fireside circle and nourishing snacks.

Through this curated blend of movement, meditation and knowledge sharing, we'll learn how to connect with ourselves and with these plants, reconnecting to our place in nature.

This is a chance to move your body in the forest, take time to nourish yourself and learn which healing plants are growing around us there!

6pm - 6.15pm - Arrive and welcome into space

6.15pm - 7.30pm - Guided walking, movement and meditation in surrounding trees and fields

7.30pm - 8pm - Shared picnic: all vegan and gluten free food and wild foraged tea

There'll be pleny of chances to have extra breaks and space if you need, you are invited to join as much as you would like, make notes and take photos.

Towards the end of our time together, we'll rest on picnic blankets and sit to share homemade wild treats and snacks - plus some wild foraged herbal tea! We will ensure our shared food is vegan and gluten free but please send us additional dietary requirements if you have any.

You will come away with new skills and practices to continue on your own and with others.

Making these practices and learning opportunities accessible is important to both of us, so please consider your current financial situation and choose a ticket price that suits you best.

We also have some bursary places available so please contact us to apply for this if you are in need.

In terms of accessibility, the walk will take place outside so please be prepared for the weather on the day. The terrain will be easy on foot and suitable for most wheelchairs. If you have any allergies, please let us know when you book your ticket.
